The Eames by Ice Cube

As if Ice Cube wasn't gangster enough, he tells us how he studied architectural drafting after taking us through a mini tour of LA, then we are invited to see Cube admiring The Eames.

Props to my University lecturer Joanne for this.

Villa Veth

Villa Veth - in Hattem Netherlands - contains modern architecture mixed with the layout from a 50's apartment. It's floor to ceiling glass and open-scape design invites nature into the Villa.

Yellow Brick House

A Lithuanian banker and antique book collector decided to buy the original yellow stone house only to realise upon inspection that the bricks were extremely valuable and  rare.

Instead of knocking down the old space he decided to surround and expand the location with glass and dark, clean interior.

The brick has been exposed in the best possible way along with the unique staircase adding more of a wow factor for this house in Vilnius, Lithuania.

House In Bohumilec

Exterior dark wood, solar panelled roof, modern interior design. Somewhere in Czech Republic blends in with the landscape of the woods perfectly.

The Wilderness.

Located in Suffolk after awaiting planning permission, was finally built in 2003.

"The Wilderness spans a vast 750sq m and includes several sitting areas and six bedrooms, as well as an indoor swimming pool and a double-height front hall with staircase and a gallery that create a truly grand entrance."

It looks amazing... Hard to think places like this exist in the UK when you live in 'burminghum'.

Boogie.

One of THE most talented photographer's I know of, would love to meet this man.

I think he's from Serbia and started touring the world's most dangerous spots and taking snaps in B&W of drug dealers, crack dens and gangster's. His ability to capture life at it's complete low and tell a story in an artistic way is a true talent, and he mixes this with an in-depth knowledge of underground cultures to create brilliant images.

I stumbled upon him somehow a couple of years and don't know how he hasn't got any bigger famewise.

True inspiration, keep up the good work Boogie.

Haus Lina - Linz 2004

One of my favorite pieces of modern architecture - the grand designs'esque Haus Lina located in some random Austrian woodlands. Still stunning (considering it was built 7 years ago) and a good example of successful post-modern architecture.

This is where I dream to be one day.
